Cancellation policy

Subscription and Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how Missless subscriptions, scheduled card orders and recurring purchases may be changed or cancelled.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Subscriptions

When you purchase a Missless subscription, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method for recurring deliveries at the price and frequency shown when you subscribe.

Depending on the plan selected, your subscription may include a specified number of cards or deliveries during each billing period.

Your payment details are stored securely by our payment provider. Missless does not directly store your complete payment card details.

Automatic Renewal

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

You will continue to be charged at the selected subscription frequency unless you cancel before the next payment is processed.

The applicable price, billing frequency and inclusions will be displayed when you purchase your subscription.

Cancelling or Changing a Subscription

You may cancel, pause or change your subscription through the subscription-management link contained in your order or subscription emails.

You may also contact Missless for assistance.

Changes or cancellations must be completed before the next order has entered preparation.

Cancelling a subscription prevents future subscription renewals and charges. It does not automatically cancel or refund an order that has already been charged, personalised, written, printed, prepared or dispatched.

Cards Already Being Prepared

Missless cards may be selected, personalised, printed, handwritten, addressed or otherwise prepared for a particular recipient.

Once preparation of a scheduled card has begun, that individual card order cannot ordinarily be cancelled, changed or refunded because it has been created specifically for the customer and cannot reasonably be resold.

This includes cards that have already been:

  • personalised with names, dates or messages;

  • handwritten or printed with a customer’s message;

  • addressed to a particular recipient;

  • printed or placed into production;

  • packaged or prepared for dispatch; or

  • dispatched.

Where a customer cancels their subscription after preparation has begun, the cancellation will apply to future eligible orders only.

Scheduled and Ad Hoc Cards

Customers are responsible for checking all recipient information, delivery addresses, dates, messages, spelling and card selections before submitting or approving them.

An ad hoc or individually scheduled card may only be changed or cancelled before preparation begins.

We recommend making any changes as early as possible. Missless cannot guarantee that a request received after an order is submitted can be completed before preparation starts.

Subscription Payments Already Processed

A subscription payment that has already been processed is not automatically refundable merely because the subscription is subsequently cancelled.

Where no card or service relating to that payment has yet been prepared or supplied, contact us promptly and we will review whether the upcoming order can be cancelled.

Any approved refund may be reduced by reasonable costs already incurred, except where prohibited by law.

Failed Payments

If a subscription payment fails, we or our payment provider may attempt to process the payment again.

Your subscription or upcoming deliveries may be paused until valid payment details are provided.

Missless is not responsible for missed cards or delivery dates resulting from an unsuccessful payment or outdated payment information.

Price or Plan Changes

We may update subscription prices, inclusions or available plans from time to time.

Where a change affects an existing recurring subscription, we will provide reasonable notice before the change takes effect where required.

You may cancel your subscription before the new price or terms apply.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Subscription and personalised products remain covered by the Australian Consumer Law.

Contact us if a card or other product:

  • arrives damaged;

  • is faulty;

  • is materially different from what was ordered;

  • contains an error made by Missless; or

  • otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.

Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a replacement, reprint, refund or another appropriate remedy.

Errors contained in information supplied or approved by the customer are not considered errors made by Missless.

Refunds and Returns

Any return or refund request is also subject to our Refund and Returns Policy.

The cancellation of a subscription does not create a right to return or obtain a refund for personalised products, cards already prepared, or previous subscription deliveries, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
